The pit bosses were involved and friendly as well. The dealers at this table were fun and we enjoyed playing here. With that being said we did find normal 3/2 rules on a 25.00 table which we did engage in the action on. If players QUIT sitting at these table they would stop ripping players off with these ridiculously favorable house rules. If people understood how casinos have twisted this rule to gouge their players they would never sit at one of these tables again.
This is a payout shift that means if you play at these tables you may as well mail them a check and save the gas expense by driving downtown. On a 'dealer stands on soft 17' and normal 3/2 payout on blackjack the house edge is under 2% if you play perfect blackjack strategy. When you add the 'dealer hitting soft 17's', and a few other unfavorable rules and you now have a house edge at almost 8 TIMES normal 3/2 blackjack rules on these tables at the Jack. For those of you unfamiliar with how house edges work this means the house has QUADRUPLED their theoretical edge. As we perused the facility for a blackjack table to settle into we noticed that all of the lower denomination tables were all set with the ridiculous 6/5 paybacks on blackjack. I visited this casino with a client on after a two year hiatus from the local casino scene.
